Due to the continued success of the business, and with a loyal client base in place, this firm is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to be based out of their Penzance office.
Responsibilities
- Working with a client portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Year-end accounts preparation
- Tax return preparation
- VAT and bookkeeping
Qualifications
- This role would ideally suit an AAT qualified candidate or similar, though this client is happy to consider applicants who haven’t undergone formal qualifications.
- Previous experience in accountancy practice is essential due to the technical nature of the role, and it would be beneficial if you have strong experience in cloud-based accountancy software.
