Continued growth has created an opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join the team at an exciting stage in the firm's development. The main duties as Senior Accountant will include:

  • Managing and supporting a varied portfolio of clients with their on-going accounting, taxation and reporting requirements
  • Preparing and reviewing accounts and tax compliance work, ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients and colleagues, acting as a trusted point of contact
  • Mentoring and developing junior members of the team, providing guidance, feedback and technical support
  • Working closely with senior leadership on client matters, projects and the continued development of the practice
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and add value to both clients and the wider business

The successful Senior Accountant will be:

  • An experienced accountancy practice accountant with a strong background in client management, accounts preparation and tax compliance.
  • ACA or ACCA qualifications would be advantageous, although applications are equally welcomed from candidates with significant experience gained within an accountancy practice environment.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.
