Working with a very supportive and high performing team, this is a varied role which would suit a candidate with broad accountancy experience, to include:
• Year end accounts and financial statement preparation
• Tax and VAT return preparation
• Client bookkeeping
• Supervising and mentoring junior staff
• Working with cloud based accounting systems
This role would suit a candidate with significant experience in an accountancy practice environment and up to date knowledge of all relevant legislation. Ideally you will be AAT qualified though my client is also happy to consider applications from candidates who haven’t undertaken formal qualifications. Excellent communication skills are essential as this role will involve extensive client contact.
