Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a long standing client, a well-established services business with a superb reputation for employee retention and development. The company seeks to recruit an Accounts Administrator to join their finance function on a permanent, part time arrangement (flexible 30 hour working week). The role will be based at the company’s headquarters in Wadebridge (with parking available for all employees).
Reporting into a highly experienced Head of Finance, the role represents a fantastic opportunity for a junior candidate, perhaps with limited experience, who would benefit from a well-supported role that will allow them to expand on their current skill set. The successful candidate will hone their skills by focussing on transactional responsibilities to include:
- Maintain company finance technology systems
- Allocation of accounts payable transactions and invoices
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist the wider finance function as required.
For this role, we ideally seek a candidate with a minimum of 6 months of recently gained experience. Although someone who is part-way through AAT and looking for their first opportunity in finance will also be considered. Applicants should be highly numerate with great attention to detail, and be quick to learn and develop new skills. The successful candidate will be someone who is confident in their IT abilities and has good working knowledge of MS Excel.
The company hopes that the successful candidate will enjoy good career development in this position, so the role would be well suited to an ambitious and driven individual looking to advance their career in finance.
