Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been re-engaged by an exciting client - a leading and highly respected media company based in Plymouth. They are currently seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a full-time, temporary basis, working three days in the Plymouth office and two days from home (hybrid model).
The purpose of this role is to support the day-to-day management of transactional accounting, while the Finance Manager focuses on a new system implementation project.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Processing all payments and completing daily bank reconciliations
- Managing the Accounts Payable inbox
- Processing card payments and staff expenses
- Assisting with month-end journal entries
- Supporting the finance team with ad hoc duties as required
For this role, experience is more important than qualifications. Strong IT skills and the ability to hit the ground running are essential. The department is fast-paced, so the successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent multitasking abilities, strong communication skills (both internal and external), and a keen eye for detail.
