We are seeking an experienced Finance and Administration Assistant to support a busy and friendly finance team. This is a varied, hands-on role offering the flexibility to work either full or part time, depending on what works best for the successful candidate. The position provides exposure to a broad range of finance and administrative activities and would suit someone who enjoys variety and being involved in the day to day running of the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the purchase ledger and processing supplier payments
  • Preparing and issuing sales invoices
  • Posting receipts and payments into accounting systems
  • Completing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Managing utilities, supplier contracts, and liaising with external contacts
  • Providing general administrative and finance support to the wider team

You will bring previous bookkeeping or accounts administration experience, solid IT and Excel skills, and a strong attention to detail. Experience within a professional or commercial environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
