Trial Balance Consulting have been engaged by our longstanding client, a most unique hospitality attraction set in beautiful rural surroundings. The business seeks to recruit an Accounts Administrator to join them on a permanent, part time arrangement working 22.5 hours per week, ideally completed over three days to suit the successful candidate. The role will be principally site based but with potential for some remote working upon completion of the probation period.
The role works closely with an experienced, friendly Accounts Manager also introduced by Trial Balance Consulting, and as part of a small finance team. In this role the successful candidate will enjoy a broad and interesting range of duties to include:
- Assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks using Sage based systems
- Administering the accounts payable/receivable function by inputting supplier invoices and creating customer sales invoices
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with monthly payroll procedures
- Assist with month-end procedures and ongoing accounting projects
- Act as a point of contact for staff, supplier and customer queries
- Assist Finance Manager with ongoing digital system and process improvements
For this role we seek a candidate with at least 6-12 months of recently gained experience in a finance/data processing role, with excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage a busy workload. Formal qualifications are not required but applicants working towards AAT are encouraged to apply. The role works within a small but busy function that liaises with colleagues across the business so strong communication skills are a must!
