An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join a growing and forward-thinking business in Paignton. The role is 15 hours per week, ideally over as many days as possible, but for the right person this can be flexible.
As the Finance Assistant you will be involved in all areas of finance, supporting both purchase and sales ledger, reporting and wider administration. You’ll play a key part in the day-to-day finance function, including:
- raising purchase orders
- reconciling supplier statements
- preparing and sending invoices
- chasing outstanding payments
- maintaining country of origin records
- supporting ad-hoc projects across the business
We’re seeking an organised and detail-focused individual with strong communication skills and the confidence to work both independently and as part of a small team. Ideally, you’ll bring experience in purchase/sales ledger, credit control, and general finance administration, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting systems (Xero or similar).
