Are you looking for a role with genuine responsibility, where you can take ownership of your own portfolio of clients whilst developing and mentoring a team of professionals? Then this is the role for you. I am working with a progressive and dynamic accountancy practice which has experienced significant growth in the past 2 years.
The role they are looking to fill currently would suit an experienced Senior who is ready to step up into management, or an existing Manager who might be looking to escape the shackles of an old school practice. Either way, significant experience in an accountancy practice is essential, and you will also need to be an excellent communicator who easily builds relationships with a varied client portfolio.
Your duties will be many and varied, including:
- Preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns
- Management of a small team
- Networking with the local business community
- Business development
- Resolving client queries
- Leading the transition of your clients to online accounting systems
- Assisting with business advisory and tax planning assignments
You are likely to be in the very final stages of your qualifications, or have already completed either ACA or ACCA, though consideration will be given to exceptional candidates who have not completed formal qualifications.
In exchange, my client offers an excellent salary and benefits package, modern offices, and a very professional and vibrant working environment. This is an urgent requirement so please apply ASAP quoting job reference JVS10527 or call Jay Vilarrubi-Smith for a confidential discussion.
