Interim Bookkeeper (Part-Time) – Nr. Okehampton – Circa £27k FTE
Trial Balance Consulting have been exclusively engaged by an interesting and unique client, a rapidly developing retail focussed business that is poised for continued expansion.
The company is in urgent need for a part-time Bookkeeper (25 hours) to join them on an interim basis. Based out of the company’s rural headquarters close to Okehampton and initially offered for a period of three months, there may well be a discussion in which this role could go on longer and possibly permanent.
Working alongside a friendly Accountant and reporting to an experienced MD, key responsibilities will include:
– Daily bookkeeping using Sage based systems
– Assist with both purchase ledger and sales ledger
– Assist with supplier payment runs
– Bank reconciliations
– Credit control
– Other ad hoc duties as required
For this role we seek an experienced candidate who has experience of both purchase and sales ledger. Candidates may be either part/fully AAT qualified or consider themselves to be QBE. Good all-round IT experience is essential, with some exposure to Sage being highly desirable. The role works as part of a fun, energetic and friendly head office team where team-work forms an important element of each employees’ duties, so great inter-person skills a must!
