Trial Balance Consulting have been engaged by a longstanding client, an established specialist manufacturing business that urgently require an experienced Accounts Assistant to join them on an interim basis, commencing ASAP. The contract comes about due to a large scale software implementation and a subsequent backlog. The contact is anticipated to run for 3 months, will be full time and will be based at the company HQ in Indian Queens.
Key responsibilities to include:
- Assist the Financial Controller and the wider team in the preparation of management accounts
- Bank reconciliations
- Inputting and amending of supplier accounts
- Assist with all aspects of accounts receivable
- Month end journals, accruals and prepayments
- Support the finance analyst team
- Assist with stock take
- Cover the work of the wider finance team where required
For this contract we’re seeking a candidate who possesses at least 12 months of experience gained within a similar environment, either part/fully AAT or qualified by experience. The business is currently implementing a new digital accounts system (NetSuite), so candidates should possess a solid understanding of cloud-based systems with the aptitude to pick up new ERPs. The business also uses MS Excel and a good working knowledge of spreadsheet manipulation would be highly desirable.
