Trial Balance Consulting are working with a fantastic accountancy practice, who know that great client service starts with great people. This successful and growing practice is now seeking an Accounts Senior on a full-time and permanent basis. Flexible working arrangements are available alongside a competitive salary, company pension, additional holiday entitlement and free parking.
The role? You will play an important role within the practice, preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, alongside preparing tax computations and tax returns. You will also review VAT returns completed by more junior members of the team and support the continued delivery of a high-quality and personalised service to clients. This is a varied role offering genuine responsibility within a supportive working environment.
The right fit? You will already have experience working within an accountancy practice environment and will ideally be AAT qualified or qualified by experience. Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks is essential, alongside strong Excel skills, excellent organisational ability and a keen eye for detail. Just as importantly, you’ll be someone who enjoys working as part of a friendly and collaborative team.
