Trial Balance Consulting has been engaged by one of Cornwall’s most respected and fast-paced charities, supporting the county’s vulnerable and disadvantaged residents. They seek to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their small but efficient team. This is a permanent, full-time role reporting to an experienced Finance Manager.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the purchase ledger
- Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of year-end accounts
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting
- Support ad-hoc tasks for the overall finance function
Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months experience in a similar role
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Attention to detail
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to contribute to the charity’s mission
