Responsibility, a competitive salary and career progression. These are the reasons that most people give for changing jobs. Trial Balance are pleased to be working with a successful accountancy practice who offer all three.

Our client is a successful and well-respected firm, which has established a great reputation across the region. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Senior or Manager to take on a role offering a good degree of autonomy, to be based out of their Exeter office.

The role? You will take responsibility for year-end accounts and tax return preparation, monthly management accounts, VAT return preparation, providing sound commercial and financial advice to your clients, and ensuring that your clients are transitioned to online accounting software. The role will also involve mentoring and supporting the more junior members of the team.

The successful candidate? This role would suit someone fully qualified ACA or ACCA, though my client is also happy to consider applicants who are either part qualified or those who would describe themselves as qualified by experience. Significant experience in an accountancy practice environment is essential, and your technical accounting knowledge should be excellent and fully up to date.

In exchange my client offers a professional and friendly working environment, a competitive salary and benefits package, and excellent opportunities for career advancement.

If this sounds like the type of role that you have been waiting for, please apply ASAP addressed to Jay Vilarrubi-Smith and quoting job reference JVS10649.
