Responsibility, a competitive salary and career progression. These are the usual motivations for people looking for a new role. What if you could achieve all of these things as well as flexibility, work from home and an open-minded employer?
Trial Balance are pleased to be working with a new client, a well-established and respected accountancy practice, who are looking to add to their small but successful team based in Bristol. They are looking to recruit an experienced Client Portfolio Manager to take on a role offering a good degree of autonomy and a wide scope of responsibilities.
The role? You will take responsibility for year-end accounts and tax return preparation, monthly management accounts, VAT return preparation, providing sound commercial and financial advice to your clients and auditing small and medium sized companies.
This isn’t a box ticking exercise though, if you bring some of the above to the table but perhaps haven’t had as much exposure to other elements, we still want to hear from you. As mentioned, this is a really open-minded employer who are able to tailor the final role to suit the skills of the successful candidate.
The successful candidate? This role would suit someone fully qualified ACA or ACCA, and who has a strong grounding in an accountancy practice setting. Your technical accounting knowledge should be excellent and fully up to date, and person fit is going to be very important. A good communicator, and someone who can fit well into a team are going to be very well suited to this position.
In exchange my client offers a professional and friendly working environment, a competitive salary and plenty of scope for flexibility. Work from home, discussions around working arrangements or whatever it might need to make it work, they are open to negotiation.
