Trial Balance Consulting are pleased to be working with a well established and fast paced organisation to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant on a temporary basis. This is a broad and varied role offering excellent exposure across multiple areas of finance. This is a hands on position that would suit someone looking to build on their existing accounting experience in a supportive and dynamic environment. The role combines financial reporting, analysis, compliance, and operational finance support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and development. Working as part of a collaborative finance team, the successful candidate will play an important role in supporting month end processes while also contributing to day to day finance activities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
- Managing fixed assets, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with year end audit preparation and requirements
- Preparing and reconciling VAT returns and supporting compliance
- Producing and analysing product costings to support pricing and profitability
- Supporting payroll processing on a rotational basis
- Assisting with accounts payable, receivable, and treasury activities
