Part-time Finance Officer (x2 days per week) - Barnstaple / Bideford (+ Hybrid) - £27,000 FTE
Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to be partnering with a highly respected charity operating across North, Mid and West Devon, who are seeking to recruit an experienced Finance Officer. This is a varied, part-time opportunity that will see the successful candidate supporting an experienced Finance Manager across the day-to-day running of an efficient and well-structured finance function. The role will be primarily based in Barnstaple or Bideford, with occasional travel to other sites across Devon.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the full accounting lifecycle using Sage 50
- Maintaining ledgers, reconciliations and cashflow monitoring
- Assisting with budgets, management accounts and reporting
- Supporting payroll, expenses and year-end processes
- Providing financial insight to support operational and funding activity
- Deputising for the Finance Manager when required
This role will suit an experienced finance professional with strong Excel and systems skills (Sage experience highly desirable), excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload to tight deadlines. A flexible and pro-active approach is key, alongside a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
