A well-established and highly respected accountancy practice is looking to recruit an Accounts Manager to join its Chard office.
Working with a varied portfolio of clients, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional client service whilst supporting the continued growth of the practice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients and acting as their primary point of contact
- Reviewing statutory accounts, tax returns and VAT returns, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time
- Preparing reports and providing practical advice to support clients with their accounting and taxation requirements
- Monitoring workflow and ensuring key deadlines are met across your portfolio
- Supporting the Directors with a range of client assignments and practice initiatives
- Assisting with new client enquiries and helping to develop the firm's growing client base
This role would suit an experienced accountant with a strong background in accountancy practice and previous experience managing a portfolio of clients. ACA or ACCA qualifications would be advantageous, although applications are welcomed from candidates who are qualified by experience with the technical expertise and client management skills to thrive in the role.
You'll have excellent communication skills, strong organisational ability and enjoy building long-term relationships with both clients and colleagues.
