Senior Practice Accountant - Holsworthy - £35,000 - £45,000

Trial Balance are delighted to be working with a respected and successful accountancy practice in Holsworthy, looking to recruit an experienced Senior Practice Accountant to join its established and supportive team. With a strong reputation for personal service and continued growth of the business, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant looking for greater responsibility and a long-term career within practice.
As Senior Practice Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- -Managing a varied portfolio of clients and acting as the main point of contact for their accounting and taxation requirements
- -Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- -Developing strong client relationships and providing practical accounting and taxation support
- -Supporting and mentoring members of the accounts team
- -Ensuring assignments are completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed deadlines
- -Working closely with Directors and senior colleagues to support the continued development and success of the practice
The successful Senior Practice Accountant will:
Have previous experience gained within an accountancy practice and be confident managing client relationships alongside accounts and tax work.
ACA or ACCA qualifications would be advantageous, although applications are equally welcomed from candidates who are qualified by experience. You'll be organised, commercially aware and an excellent communicator, with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of client service.
