Accounts Semi Senior in Cardiff

A leading accountancy practice with multiple offices across the region, is looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior to join its Cardiff team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a varied position working across accounts, tax and bookkeeping for a diverse client portfolio, with the opportunity to broaden your technical knowledge and build strong client relationships.

As Accounts Semi Senior, your responsibilities will include:

• - Assisting in the preparation year-end accounts and financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• - Assisting with personal and corporate tax returns
• - Completing VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments
• - Supporting the preparation of management accounts
• - Working with clients to obtain information and resolve day-to-day queries
• - Developing positive relationships with clients and colleagues
• - Working closely with senior team members to ensure assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines

The successful Accounts Semi Senior will:

Have current experience gained within an accountancy practice, with a good grounding across accounts preparation and tax.

You'll be organised, accurate and confident communicating with clients, with the ability to manage a varied workload and work effectively as part of a busy team. AAT, ACA or ACCA studies would be advantageous, with support available for the right candidate.
