Trial Balance are delighted to be working with a highly regarded accountancy practice in Falmouth, looking to recruit an Accounts Senior to join its team. This is a varied opportunity offering regular client contact, broad technical exposure and the chance to continue developing your career within a supportive practice.
As Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparing personal and corporate tax returns and associated computations
- Completing VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments where required
- Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
- Responding to client queries and providing practical accounting and taxation support
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
- Working closely with Managers and Partners to ensure work is delivered accurately and within agreed deadlines
As Accounts Senior, you'll bring: Previous experience working within an accountancy practice and a strong grounding across accounts preparation and taxation. An ACA or ACCA qualification would be advantageous, although candidates who are part-qualified or qualified by experience will also be considered. You'll be organised, technically capable and confident communicating with clients and colleagues, with a pro-active approach to managing your workload.
