Senior Accountant - Helston - £45,000 - £55,000 The right senior role in accountancy practice gives you the opportunity to do more than produce accounts. Trial Balance are delighted to be working with a growing and personable accountancy practice, looking to recruit an experienced Senior Accountant to join its team in Helston. This is a hands-on position offering a broad range of responsibilities, from accounts and tax work through to client management, team development and supporting the day-to-day operation of the practice. As Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include: - Managing a varied portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact for their ongoing accounting and taxation requirements - Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for companies, partnerships and sole traders - Preparing corporation tax, personal tax and VAT returns - Producing management accounts and supporting clients with their wider financial requirements - Supporting new client onboarding - Leading client tax review meetings and identifying opportunities to provide additional value - Reviewing the work of junior colleagues, providing guidance and supporting their ongoing development - Assisting with workflow p...
