This successful and highly regarded accountancy practice is looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior to join its established team in Bristol. Offering a structured environment, experienced colleagues and genuine opportunities for development, this is an excellent role for someone looking to build on their existing practice experience.
As Accounts Semi Senior, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Assisting with personal and corporate tax returns
- Completing VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments where required
- Working with a varied client portfolio and developing strong client relationships
- Responding to client queries and providing day-to-day accounting support
- Working closely with senior colleagues to ensure assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
- Supporting junior colleagues and continuing to develop your own technical knowledge
The successful Accounts Semi Senior candidate will have previous experience working within an accountancy practice and be looking for an opportunity where they can continue to build their skills and take on greater responsibility. AAT qualification or studies towards ACA or ACCA would be advantageous, although relevant practical experience will also be considered. You'll be organised, proactive and confident communicating with clients and colleagues, with a genuine ambition to progress within accountancy practice.
