A leading B2B fintech company is seeking a talented and experienced UX Design Lead to join on a 4-month fixed-term contract to provide paternity cover. This role is ideal for a senior designer who can lead UX design across complex digital products, maintain brand and design system consistency, and work effectively in a remote-first environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for leading UX initiatives across key digital platforms, ensuring high usability and a consistent visual experience. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive user journeys and polished, brand-aligned interfaces. This position requires both hands-on design and strategic thinking.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading UX design for B2B software products, following established design templates and brand guidelines.
- Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Working closely with product and development teams to understand user needs and deliver intuitive design solutions.
- Supporting documentation and handovers to ensure continuity post-contract.
- Contributing to stakeholder discussions and design iteration processes.
Skills & Experience
Required:
- Strong UX/UI design experience, ideally within B2B or fintech sectors.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, etc.).
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop.
- Ability to work within and expand on existing brand and design systems.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in distributed teams.
Preferred:
- Experience in the financial technology sector.
- Basic video editing skills.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Sketch.
