We’re looking for a BI Engineer to join our client's brilliant team to help build scalable, high-quality data solutions that power reporting, dashboards, and self-service analytics. Working closely with BI Developers and stakeholders, you’ll design and optimise data pipelines, curate reporting datasets, and translate business requirements into reliable backend solutions. This role combines strong technical engineering capability with stakeholder engagement, problem solving, and a passion for modern data technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and reporting datasets
  • Optimise data models, queries, and pipeline performance
  • Support self-service analytics and dashboard enablement
  • Implement data quality, monitoring, and governance controls
  • Work closely with BI Developers to support frontend reporting requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Strong SQL and data modelling experience
  • Python experience is a nice to have
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts
  • Exposure to orchestration and workflow tooling
  • Familiarity with BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or QuickSight
