We are looking for a talented Solution Designer to join a market-leading organisation within the energy sector. With over 85 years of experience, this well-established company owns and manages critical national infrastructure and is currently delivering a forward-funded, futureproofing programme with enormous potential for growth.
As a Solution Designer, you will work closely with Architecture and Business Solutions teams to deliver end-to-end IT solution designs that align with both strategic goals and enterprise architecture standards. This role is critical in shaping the technical direction of complex IT systems across the business, with a focus on resilience, scalability, and long-term value.
Key skills and experience required:
- Strong experience producing high-level and/or detailed designs for IT projects
- A solid understanding of enterprise IT systems, including infrastructure, cloud, applications, and data integration
- Experience with technologies such as IoT, edge computing, or other modern digital platforms (a plus, but not essential)
- Familiarity with enterprise response, recovery, and business continuity strategies
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
