We are representing a well-known, prestigious brand in the media industry who are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join them for a crucial project on an initial 6-month contract.
This role has been created to take ownership of, and help deliver, a stalled cloud migration project for two key SaaS applications. You will be brought in as an internal technical resource to drive the end-to-end delivery of a complex data migration from a legacy on-premise environment to AWS Cloud.
As Technical Project Manager you will validate vendor progress, remediate historical migration errors, and ensure the project is brought through to a successful conclusion. Up to this point, our client has relied solely on one of the SaaS vendors for the work thus far but progress is stalling and so they are looking to bring in an internal resource to help bring it back on track. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role reporting into two senior stakeholders across the business.
We are looking for:
- Experience in data migration and data validation, including source-to-target strategy and maintaining data integrity across high-volume migrations
- Understanding of AWS cloud environments, including an appreciation of server structures and architectural design
- Technical project management skills, with experience tracking and driving delivery through to closure using tools such as Jira
- Experience working alongside and holding third-party vendors to account
- An understanding of infrastructure and security considerations during cloud migration projects, including identity management integrations
It would be a bonus if you have:
- Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms or similar content management systems
- Familiarity with Censhare, Picturemaxx, Keycloak, or Okta
To apply, please submit your CV. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 5 business days.
