Immediate start

We’re seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Consultant/Coach to help transform a team within a leading financial services environment. This role will be pivotal in shaping the strategy and roadmap, and driving execution to embed SRE principles across the team.

Responsibilities

  • Introduce and champion an SRE culture across the organisation
  • Act as a coach and advisor, working closely with a product team lead in the retail domain
  • Assess the current state (“as is”) and define the future state (“to be”)
  • Support the transition from ITSM/ITIL-heavy processes to modern reliability-focused practices
  • Experience across multiple platforms and applications
  • Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud environments
  • Mainframe experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with modern cloud-hosted applications
  • Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to act as a cultural advocate for SRE principles
