If so, apply now for this Platform Engineer based in central London. This role is to join an enterprise-scale business, and an instantly recognisable household name. Their Cloud strategy is in its infancy and they’re looking for a Platform Engineer to join their Engineering team. You’ll need to be a self-starter, able to work on your own initiative, and thrive in an environment where you may not have all the answers immediately. The role will offer the Platform Engineer the opportunity to really make tangible contributions to the Cloud strategy and technical toolkit selection.
What you’ll do:
- Design, implement, and support Azure cloud infrastructure and services
- Define Cloud governance (policies, tagging strategies, etc)
- Automate deployments, monitoring, and management using Infrastructure-as-Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform, or similar)
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and development teams to ensure highly available, resilient, and secure solutions
- Optimise performance, cost, and scalability across cloud environments
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide expert-level support for Azure-based workloads
