We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on safety-critical software and embedded systems for medical and consumer health products.
Contract - £500 per day
Key Requirements:
- Strong C/C++ skills for embedded development
- Experience with embedded Linux or RTOS environments
- Knowledge of EN 62034 and ISO 14971 standards for medical software
- Understanding of wired/wireless communication protocols (I2C, UART, SPI, Bluetooth LE)
- Ability to write clear, structured documentation and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
Desirable:
- Experience with Qt GUI development
- Familiarity with secure coding standards or IEC 81001-5
- Integration with hospital/healthcare systems (DICOM, HL7, EHRs)
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems (e.g., STM32, CubeMX)
