We’re partnered with a rapidly growing global technology business operating within public transport, payments, and infrastructure systems, currently scaling their security function as part of a major international growth phase. They’re now looking for a Security Architect to help design and secure enterprise-scale cloud platforms and PCI-compliant solutions across a complex global environment.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in shaping the organisation’s security architecture strategy across cloud-native platforms and payment systems, working closely with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams. This role will focus heavily on AWS environments, security tooling, and ensuring secure-by-design principles across both existing and new platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud security architectures within AWS
- Support the security design of PCI-compliant products and payment platforms
- Work closely with engineering teams to embed security best practices into new solutions
- Review and assess new technologies, products, and infrastructure from a security perspective
- Contribute to security standards, policies, and architectural governance
- Support SIEM strategy and broader security tooling integrations
- Collaborate with global technical stakeholders across multiple business units
Requirements
- Strong background in Security Architecture or Senior Cloud Security Engineering
- Experience securing AWS cloud environments
- Knowledge of PCI-DSS or securing payment-related systems
- Experience with SIEM platforms and enterprise security tooling
- Good understanding of cloud networking, identity/access management, and threat mitigation
- Ability to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working within fast-paced, scaling environments
