We're partnering with a well-known organisation undertaking a major technology transformation and looking to hire a Chief Architect to establish and lead a new Architecture function.
Reporting directly to the CTO, you'll be responsible for:
- Creating the architecture vision
- Defining current and target states
- Building a team of architects to support an ambitious multi-year transformation programme
This role is about far more than governance and architecture diagrams. Responsibilities include:
- Establishing and leading the enterprise Architecture function
- Defining architecture strategy, governance and standards
- Creating current and target-state architecture across the organisation
- Supporting major transformation initiatives across data, platforms and operational resilience
- Partnering with senior stakeholders and executive leadership to shape technology strategy
Key requirements:
- Experience of building and leading an Architecture function
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate at Executive and Senior Leadership Team level
- Experience building teams, operating models and architecture capabilities
- Commercial awareness and the ability to connect technology strategy to business outcomes
- Transformation experience within complex organisations
