We are seeking an experienced Change & Programme Engagement Lead to support a large-scale organisation-wide transformation agenda. This position sits within a complex programme environment and will focus on ensuring colleagues are informed, engaged and prepared for significant changes to systems, processes and ways of working.

This is a highly collaborative, delivery-driven role requiring someone who enjoys translating complex programme activity into clear, meaningful communications and engagement initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with programme teams, business stakeholders and change specialists to support successful implementation and adoption across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engagement and communication activities for major transformation initiatives.
  • Develop high-quality content including briefing materials, stakeholder updates, guidance documents, FAQs, leadership communications and digital content.
  • Create audience-focused engagement plans that support programme milestones and business readiness.
  • Work with programme teams to communicate changes impacting colleagues, processes and technology.
  • Support leaders and managers with messaging and communication materials.
  • Ensure communications are timely, effective and aligned with wider organisational channels and standards.
  • Help measure engagement effectiveness and adjust approaches based on feedback and programme needs.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across business, technology and change functions.
About YouEssential
  • Demonstrable experience supporting communications, engagement or change activities within large transformation programmes.
  • Excellent written communication and content development skills.
  • Experience working on initiatives involving significant operational, technology or business process change.
  • Ability to simplify complex information for varied audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working across multiple teams.
  • Proactive, delivery-focused approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Willingness to work on-site three days per week in either London or Sunderland.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting enterprise technology change programmes.
  • Knowledge of HR, finance or corporate systems environments.
  • Familiarity with change management and adoption methodologies.
