A growing cybersecurity organisation is seeking an experienced contractor to provide third-line support and lead a comprehensive Technology audit during a period of transition and change. This role is a hands-on role focusing on the Microsoft ecosystem, with a strong emphasis across security, compliance and platform optimisation. You'll play a key role in improving and assessing the IT environment whilst being hands-on with project work across their IT estate.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing third-line support for escalated technical issues (especially Intune and M365)
- Work on several ongoing projects, such as ISO 27001 implementation and optimising Microsoft licensing
- Work with the Head of IT to conduct an audit of the Technology estate
- Identify skill gaps for future team design whilst helping document systems and processes
- Enable new AI rollout by assisting with Copilot across the business
Experience Required:
- Previous experience working in a Microsoft 365 environment - Intune, Entra ID, O365, D365
- Working with cloud native apps, e.g. Function Apps, Logic Apps, Power Automate, External Entra ID
- Experience working in smaller or lean IT environments with the ability to:
- Identify gaps
- Recommend improvements
- Contribute to future team and Technology Strategy
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of technical challenges
- Ability to balance hands-on delivery with advisory/audit responsibilities
