Initial 6 month contract - inside IR35, 2 days a week on site (Bedfordshire / London). We are partnered with a client in the Home Counties who is embarking on a major Digital Transformation roadmap. This will modernise their legacy systems and play a crucial role in the transformation of both their IT and operating systems. With a strong focus on automation, improving processes, and leveraging data, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on their evolving digital landscape.
Role Opportunity:
We are looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure Solution Architect to design and support the transition from a Citrix-based VDI environment to modern desktop and application delivery models.
Specific Skills Required:
- Strong experience working in a customer-centric environment, with a focus on designing infrastructure solutions based on Microsoft Technologies.
- Support migration from Citrix VDI to cloud-based or hybrid end-user computing solutions.
- Expertise in ensuring designs are secure, scalable, and resilient.
- Proven ability to work with delivery and operational teams to ensure smooth transition into BAU.
Ideal Candidate:
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft infrastructure platforms (Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Intune).
- Practical experience with Citrix VDI environments and alternative EUC strategies.
- Strong understanding of resilience, security, and operational handover requirements.
- Ability to design pragmatic solutions in real-world, operational environments.
