We’re working with a lifestyle brand that’s investing in its infrastructure and security capabilities. This is a full-time onsite role based in Gloucestershire. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable IT infrastructure across all sites. You’ll work closely with outsourced partners and internal stakeholders to ensure high availability, compliance, and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and improve physical and virtual infrastructure across all locations
  • Lead infrastructure projects including new site setups and cloud migrations
  • Liaise with MSPs and outsourced partners on infrastructure and security
  • Ensure high availability of core systems (network, servers, storage, firewalls)
  • Implement and maintain compliance frameworks (e.g. PCI-DSS, GDPR)
  • Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning
  • Monitor system health, vulnerabilities, and patching
  • Manage endpoint protection, access control, and threat detection
  • VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter
Ideal Candidate:
  • Strong experience in both physical and virtual infrastructure
  • Background in retail or hospitality environments with POS exposure
  • Hands-on with networking, firewalls, cloud security, and IAM
  • Familiar with compliance, patching, and endpoint security best practices
