Cheltenham (Hybrid c. 2 days/week)

£55,000-£60,000 plus 10% max bonus

We are recruiting an Insurance Operations Technical Analyst on behalf of a confidential client within the UK insurance / reinsurance sector. This role sits within Operations and provides technical expertise across the full insurance lifecycle, supporting scheme participants, internal teams, and outsourced providers. You will act as a subject matter expert, with responsibility for operational controls, data quality, claims support, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support across onboarding, eligibility, and claims settlement processes
  • Monitor operational controls, risks, and service performance against agreed standards
  • Act as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders and third-party vendors
  • Track operational performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support data quality improvements and systems development activity
  • Contribute to audits, regulatory obligations, and risk management activity
Key experience required:
  • Insurance or reinsurance operations experience
  • Strong understanding of underwriting, claims, and bordereaux processes
  • Experience working with controls, operating procedures, and third-party suppliers
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
