We are recruiting an Insurance Operations Technical Analyst on behalf of a confidential client within the UK insurance / reinsurance sector. This role sits within Operations and provides technical expertise across the full insurance lifecycle, supporting scheme participants, internal teams, and outsourced providers. You will act as a subject matter expert, with responsibility for operational controls, data quality, claims support, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:- Provide technical support across onboarding, eligibility, and claims settlement processes
- Monitor operational controls, risks, and service performance against agreed standards
- Act as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders and third-party vendors
- Track operational performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Support data quality improvements and systems development activity
- Contribute to audits, regulatory obligations, and risk management activity
- Insurance or reinsurance operations experience
- Strong understanding of underwriting, claims, and bordereaux processes
- Experience working with controls, operating procedures, and third-party suppliers
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to use data to support operational decision-making and improvement
