As IT Director youll join an expanding insurance organisation currently undertaking a suite of transformational technology programmes. They are evolving into a technology and data-led business, with this role at the forefront of its modernisation journey.
This senior leadership position will oversee several strategic technology areas, including Data, Product Management, Software Engineering, and Infrastructure
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute Technology strategy across the business, including several in-flight cloud programmes.
- Build strong relationships across the business and technology teams to ensure smooth and effective technology change initiatives.
- Be a technical authority, partnering with the Software Engineering function to promote clean, scalable, and maintainable code through modern development practices.
- Provide expert guidance on cloud architecture and operations (preferably Azure) to enable scalable, secure, and future-ready infrastructure.
- Bring previous insurance experience to drive technology and innovation across the business
- A Head of IT/IT Director with demonstrable experience in the insurance industry and deep understanding of its operational and regulatory landscape.
- Technically proficient leader from a Software Development background, comfortable engaging in code reviews and architectural discussions.
- Leadership across core technology pillars including Product Development, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Data
