Weβre partnering with a major UK organisation to recruit a Data Product Owner who will play a key role in building out their enterprise data capabilities β enabling better customer experiences, advanced analytics, and insight-led decision making across the business.
This is a hands-on role with huge scope: youβll work across data platforms, engineering, governance, and business teams to deliver data products that drive measurable outcomes.
The Role
- Lead the development of data platforms: data warehouses, lakes, CDPs, analytics solutions.
- Act as the central link between business, data science, engineering, and governance functions.
- Manage the data product backlog, translating requirements into deliverable features.
- Oversee data pipelines, modelling, ETL/ELT processes, APIs, and cloud data platforms.
- Ensure data quality, governance, compliance and regulatory standards (GDPR, CCPA).
- Use BI and analytics platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to inform product decisions.
About You
- Experienced Product Owner with strong exposure to data products and platforms.
- Delivery experience with enterprise data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery), lakes, and CDPs.
- Understanding of data pipelines, contracts, lineage, APIs, and data governance frameworks.
- Comfortable navigating GDPR, CCPA and other compliance requirements.
- Familiar with dbt, Airflow, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proven ability to manage backlogs, engage stakeholders and deliver in Agile environments.
- Analytical mindset with a strong commercial awareness.
