An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing financial services company in a newly created role as Senior Data Enablement Manager. The organisation is undergoing significant transformation, moving towards a cloud-first, data product environment.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving enterprise-wide data governance as the business transitions to the cloud. The company is adopting Salesforce as its SaaS platform and Snowflake as its data platform, supported by a modern data stack including Fivetran, Atlan, DBT, and Airflow.
Reporting directly to the Chief Data Officer, you’ll lead a team of three, covering Data Quality, Data Governance, and Data Literacy. You’ll also act as a champion for these areas across the business, engaging with stakeholders to drive adoption and promote a data-as-a-product mindset.
With AI use cases now in place and investment into Snowflake Cortex underway, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the organisation’s data is well-positioned to support this journey. With a strong commitment to becoming a data-centric organisation, this role offers the chance to contribute to a purpose-driven environment that values innovation, people, and progress.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience championing Data Governance and Data Quality
- Exposure to a data-as-a-product environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across IT and Operations
- Strong people management experience
- Experience in change management
- Background in financial services, with understanding of sector-specific regulations and GDPR
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience with Salesforce or Snowflake
- Knowledge of data governance in AI/ML contexts
- Familiarity with tools such as Fivetran, Atlan, etc.
