TRIA are supporting a Global F&B client who are embarking on a transformation of its global data landscape, and we are looking for a Data Governance Manager to help build the governance capability from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of developing and embedding a data governance framework within a complex, multinational organisation where very little exists. You will be joining at a pivotal moment as they implement a new enterprise data & analytics platform, and mature from level 1 governance capability.

What You’ll do

  • Design, build, and roll out an enterprise data governance framework, covering policies, processes, standards, stewardship, and controls.
  • Define and embed data ownership and stewardship models globally.
  • Develop clear data definitions, business glossaries, and metadata foundations.
  • Implement and monitor data quality rules and controls, mitigating business risk associated with incomplete or inconsistent data.
  • Partner closely with teams across the business — from senior executives and legal to data stewards and data science, to drive adoption and engagement.
  • Play a key role in shaping how data governance aligns with the upcoming Master Data Management (MDM) programme.
  • Produce robust documentation and help embed governance into day‑to‑day operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5-10 years of experience in Data Governance.
  • Proven track record of delivering at least one end‑to‑end governance implementation in a complex organisation.
  • Strong understanding of risk, controls, and compliance, ideally with exposure to internal audit, legal, or risk functions.
  • Experience designing and embedding governance policies, standards, and operating procedures - not just creating them.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to influence globally and build trusted relationships.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organisational skills.

If you think your experience aligns with the role requirements, please apply with an up to date CV to be considered. Unfortunately, we can not offer sponsorship for this opportunity.
