We\’re looking for an experienced Cisco Network Engineer to support a secure infrastructure programme in the Barrow-in-Furness region. This is a contract position, outside IR35, ideal for someone who can hit the ground running in a high-security environment.

Role: Network Engineer (Cisco)
Location: Barrow-in-Furness / North West (on-site required c once/twice a week)
Clearance: SC or DV essential
Day Rate: Competitive (market-rate, outside IR35)
Start: ASAP

Key Skills:

Strong Cisco routing & switching experience (CCNP level or above)

Firewall & security appliance xiskglj configuration

Network troubleshooting in complex, secure environments

Experience within defence, government or similarly regulated sectors

Comfortable working on-site within a high-security facility
