An established and growing organisation within the vegetation management, landscaping, and arboriculture sector is looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support its commercial team. The Role

You’ll support the commercial function with a focus on value management and cost control across multiple projects. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and submitting applications, invoices, and monthly valuations
  • Supporting cost tracking, reporting, and post-contract cost control
  • Assisting with Early Warning Notices and Compensation Events
  • Ensuring all commercial processes meet client deadlines and requirements

About You

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant field
  • 1–2 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role
  • Understanding of NEC contracts
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Confident working with digital/commercial systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Full UK driving licence
