Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Developer to join their Business Applications Team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a range of business-critical applications, supporting system improvements, strategic projects, and ongoing operational performance across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Support application projects including upgrades, migrations, enhancements, and new implementations
- Configure and maintain enterprise applications to meet business requirements
- Identify and deliver system improvements to enhance performance, stability, and user experience
- Provide 3rd line support for business-critical applications
- Work closely with internal teams, developers, vendors, and external partners to resolve issues and deliver solutions
- Support change management activities and ensure smooth transitions
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with audits, risk assessments, and application governance activities
- Experience supporting and developing enterprise applications
- Intermediate SQL skills, including querying and data manipulation
- Understanding of APIs, Middleware, and system integrations
- Experience with service management platforms such as Jira and Helix
- Experience managing Windows Servers
- Knowledge of role-based access controls, authentication protocols, and data protection principles
- Strong technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
