We are supporting a major UK organisation undergoing significant transformation, including a large-scale migration from Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle Fusion ERP. They are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer who can bring strong leadership, deep Oracle and finance expertise, and stability across a complex, fast-moving environment.
As the Senior Platform Engineer, you will:
- Take ownership of the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of Finance platforms.
- Own the enablement of Finance platforms and modules using Oracle Visual Builder/Oracle Apex.
- Own, design, build, and manage the integrations between Finance platforms and external systems.
- Design and build connections between Finance platforms and other systems using REST/SOAP APIs and data migration tools.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve performance, and champion automation using CI/CD pipelines.
We are looking for:
- High level of Oracle knowledge - ideally Oracle Fusion exposure.
- Finance domain experience and familiarity with platforms - e.g. Financials, HCM, SCM.
- Experience with Oracle Visual Builder/Oracle Apex.
- Strong leadership skills and previous team management responsibilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
It would be a bonus if you had:
- Deep knowledge and awareness of Cloud (Azure/AWS) infrastructure, data, and security.
- Strong vendor management skills.
