A growing European streaming technology vendor is expanding into the UK and is looking for a senior Pre-Sales Engineer to lead technical customer engagements from first evaluation through to delivery. The Role
- This is a senior, dual-function position covering the full technical customer journey from first evaluation through to live production.
- You will work alongside the UK and European sales teams as the primary technical voice, and then own delivery once contracts are signed.
- Lead architecture discussions with enterprise broadcasters, Pay-TV operators and OTT platforms across the UK and Europe.
- Design end-to-end solutions across transcoding, packaging and delivery workflows.
- Deploy and manage Proof-of-Concepts in customer and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP and on-prem).
- Own customer onboarding, rollout and migration projects from kickoff through to go-live.
- Write and manage Statements of Work and change requests.
- Run project governance, status meetings and delivery plans.
- Act as the bridge between customers and the engineering team throughout the customer lifecycle.
What We Are Looking For
- Must-have: Proven background in pre-sales, solutions engineering or technical delivery for a streaming platform or cloud video vendor.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure or GCP alongside on-prem and private cloud deployments.
- Solid working knowledge of video workflows including HEVC, H.264, SRT, ABR and low-latency streaming.
- Track record of taking customer implementations through to live production.
- Comfortable operating across multiple European customers and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Able to balance sales support responsibilities with structured, accountable project delivery.
- Nice to have: Experience in FAST, AVOD or multi-format workflow environments.
- Existing relationships within the European broadcast or OTT operator market.
- Exposure to formal project methodologies or SOW management.
