This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Implementation Programme Manager / Delivery Manager in the financial technology space to join a growing technology business and take ownership of complex client implementation programmes from initiation through to successful delivery.

You’ll act as the key interface between clients and internal teams, ensuring solutions are delivered to agreed timescales, scope, quality standards and commercial expectations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll provide leadership, direction and prioritisation across client engagements, helping to translate requirements into clear delivery plans and successful outcomes.

You’ll play a pivotal role in managing stakeholder expectations, resolving risks and issues, coordinating delivery activity and ensuring a smooth transition into BAU. This role would suit someone who enjoys client-facing delivery, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident bringing structure, clarity and momentum to complex programmes of work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the successful delivery of client implementation programmes from initiation through to completion
  • Act as the key client interface, ensuring expectations are understood, managed and met
  • Create, maintain and manage delivery plans, schedules, milestones and project governance
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure delivery activity is aligned, prioritised and progressing effectively
  • Manage scope, quality, risks, issues, dependencies and change control throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Work closely with commercial teams to manage budgets, revenue, costs and contractual considerations
  • Support project retrospectives, post-implementation reviews and smooth transition into BAU
We are looking for
  • Experience leading client implementation or the delivery of technology transformation programmes within a financial technology environment (Ideally in Wealth Management)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients, commercial teams and technical delivery teams
  • Confident managing delivery plans, scope, milestones, budgets, risks, issues and change control
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear updates, manage expectations and present progress to senior stakeholders
  • Experience working in agile environments and the willingness to be hands on with project planning
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to support revenue, cost and contractual considerations throughout delivery
  • A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and keep delivery activity moving at pace
