This is a senior, influential contract role ideal for someone who blends strategic architectural thinking with practical, delivery‑focused cyber security expertise.
You will work across technology, business, and governance teams, ensuring solutions are secure, risk‑aligned, and supportive of wider organisational objectives.
This role offers the opportunity to solve complex security challenges, influence senior stakeholders, and design security approaches that enable the business.
Skills & Experience Required Core Competencies Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
Ability to communicate clearly across written, verbal, and presentation formats.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues.
Confidence to challenge constructively and guide teams toward better outcomes.
Technical credibility across major security architecture domains, including: Servers, desktops, networks, storage Operating systems and databases Virtualisation and cloud platforms such as Azure or GCPIAMExperience & Expertise Deep knowledge of Security architecture principles, methodologies, and frameworks.
Proven experience delivering security architecture across diverse technologies.
Ability to operate strategically while supporting practical delivery.
Comfortable working with ambiguity, competing priorities, and multi‑stakeholder environments.
Qualifications Relevant architecture certifications (e. g., SABSA, TOGAF, CISSP‑ISSAP).
Additional cybersecurity qualifications such as CISM, CRISC, SANS, CISSP, GIAC are beneficial.
