Job Description \n Application Support Analyst \n Dorset/Hybrid \n Β£31,000-Β£33,000 + Benefits \n A leading retailer is seeking an Application Support Analyst to join its Application Services team, supporting a range of business-critical retail, trading and corporate applications. \n You'll be responsible for investigating and resolving application issues, supporting major incidents, monitoring integrations and systems, and working closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure services remain available, resilient and fit for purpose. \n Key responsibilities: \n \n Investigate and resolve application incidents and service requests. \n Support major incidents and coordinate service restoration. \n Monitor applications, integrations, APIs, reporting feeds and batch processes. \n Work with suppliers and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. \n Support new systems and projects transitioning into BAU. \n Drive service improvements, automation and operational excellence. \n \n What we're looking for: \n \n Experience supporting enterprise applications in a complex environment. \n Retail systems experience, ideally POS and merchandising platforms. \n Knowledge of Incident, Problem and Change Management. \n Experience with APIs, integrations and data flows. \n SQL skills and exposure to Scripting (PowerShell, SQL or similar). \n Experience with cloud-hosted/SaaS applications and third-party suppliers. \n Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. \n \n This is a great opportunity to join a well-known retailer undergoing ongoing technology modernisation, offering exposure to cloud technologies, enterprise integrations and modern data platforms.
