Senior Finance Manager – Management Accounting (Interim)

📍 Gloucestershire | Hybrid (c.2 days in office)

We’re supporting a well-established, transformation-focused business in Gloucestershire with the appointment of an Interim Senior Finance Manager to lead Management Accounting across the UK & Ireland.

This is a hands-on responsibility for month-end close, and oversight of a sizeable management accounting team. The focus is on pace, quality, control and continuous improvement, including driving the close timetable towards best-in-class.

Key focus areas

• Own and deliver the end-to-end month-end close and management reporting
• Lead, coach and performance-manage a team of management accountants
• Strengthen financial controls, balance sheet integrity and governance
• Drive process and system improvements across Oracle, TM1 and Excel
• Partner with senior finance stakeholders to provide clear insight and analysis

About you

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Strong background in management accounting within a complex environment
• Proven people leader with a track record of improving close and reporting processes
• Confident operating in fast-paced, change-oriented businesses
• Oracle experience beneficial but not essential
